Background on the Holiday Cards

During the month of May, Pine Tree Society’s Bath office begins to resemble an art gallery. That’s because about 50 noted artists from all corners of Maine and beyond send their paintings to Pine Tree Society to be in the running to become one of the organization’s beloved holiday cards. Since 1969, holiday card sales have been a major source of revenue that supports Pine Tree Society’s services for Maine people with disabilities. Every card purchased will help Maine children and adults with disabilities to live fuller, richer lives. This year, Pine Tree Society decided to put a twist on the tradition and share the beautiful works of art on its website. We've chosen the two paintings for the 2008 Holiday Cards above, but you can still enjoy perusing the artwork below. Please let us know what you think. Click here to send us your comments.
